Planting Documentation

During spring planting, keep a simple, consistent record of:

• field ID or legal description

• crop

• acres planted

• planting dates for each field

• field maps or GPS points showing boundaries and any skipped/failed areas

Store receipts, seed tags, and applicator logs with your notes. These items make acreage reports faster, support any claims, and help ensure your crop insurance records are accurate.
